David Maus

David Maus has become one of the most recognized personalities in the Central Florida area, locally known as a spokesperson and General Manager for David Maus Toyota, David Maus Volkswagen North, David Maus Volkswagen South and the all new David Maus Chevrolet.  Mr. Maus’ business ventures extend as the President of Maus Media Group, a local advertising agency. Mr. Maus has shown that he believes in integrity and honesty when dealing with his customers. He has set a trend with his advertising on how a customer should be treated and how valuable their time is.

David Maus’ most commendable attribute is his generous involvement in local Central Florida charities. For the past eight years, the David Maus Automotive Dealerships have been involved with multiple charities, donating over $250,000 and hundreds of volunteer hours. He has been spotlighted by Time magazine for his participation with such charities as Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida (2009,2008), Children’s Miracle Network (2007), Camp Boggy Creek (2006), Sports and Drugs Don’t Mix Charity for Kids (2005), and The Lake Mary Police Department D.A.R.E. program (2004).

Mr. Maus also founded the David Maus Foundation in 2004, a non-profit foundation dedicated to raising funds and awareness for local charitable organizations dedicated to helping children with life-threatening illnesses. The Foundation is about to hosted the 7th Anniversary with the signature event, the 7th Annual David Maus Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament. This year the Foundation donated $50,000 to the Ronald McDonald Houses of Central Florida, $30,000 to the Autism Society of Greater Orlando, $30,000 to Camp Boggy Creek and $25,000 to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Since its formation, the Foundation has donated more than $750,000 to local Central Florida children’s charities.

In the past eight years, David Maus Toyota has been named the recipient of the Toyota Motor Sales President’s Award, Board of Governor’s Award, as well as the Chairman’s Award by Southeast Toyota. David Maus Toyota honors also include the prestigious President’s Cabinet Award in 2005. All of these accolades are given to the top Toyota dealers in the country in sales, service and community involvement.

David Maus has over 18 years experience in the car business having started his career with Kissimmee Toyota in 1993. Prior to the car business, David Maus worked in the golf industry in sales. He makes his permanent residence in Orlando and enjoys golf, swimming, and spending time with his family.

 

Alexander F. Hern

Alexander F. Hern, age 46, has been an entrepreneur for nearly 15 years focusing on incubation and seed stages of technology start-up companies.  From 1995 to 1997, he was a cofounder, shareholder, and board member of the Inktomi Corporation, a search engine technology firm, which became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: INKT) in 1998.

From 1997 to 2001, he was a cofounder, shareholder, and the managing partner of Strategic Acquisition Ventures, Ltd., a technology incubator.  From 1998 to 2000, he was a co-founder, shareholder, and board member of Military Commercial Technologies, Inc., a military technology incubator.

From 1999 to 2000, he was a co-founder, shareholder, and board member of Yesmail, Inc., an online email marketing firm, which became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: YESM) in 1999.

From 2000 to 2003, he was a cofounder, shareholder and board member of NewHomes.com, Inc., an online real estate company, which was sold in 2006.

From 2001 to 2009, he was a cofounder, shareholder, and board member of Silicon Valley Internet Corporation, a venture capital firm that harnesses and leverages critical research and development to build high growth technology businesses with commercial relevance.

From 2001 to 2004, he was a co-founder, shareholder, and board member of ArcSight, an enterprise internet security firm, which became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: ARST) in 2007.

From 2003 to 2011, he was a cofounder, shareholder, and board member of MediZone, a medical wellness center company.

 

David Oliver

Mr. Oliver, age 51, is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of Florida, the Federal District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the Federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

David Oliver has a national trial practice and has handled litigation in state and federal courts throughout Florida, as well as having been admitted pro hac vice to serve as lead counsel in cases pending in California, New York, Maryland, Indiana, Wyoming, New Hampshire, Georgia, Delaware and Nevada. Mr. Oliver typically tries several cases to verdict each year.

Focusing primarily in commercial litigation, Mr. Oliver’s practice includes work in the areas of business tort litigation, commercial fraud, contract litigation, class action litigation, Lanham Act and right of publicity litigation, partnership and joint venture litigation, shareholders derivative litigation and real estate-related disputes.

In July 2004, Mr. Oliver was selected for inclusion in the inaugural edition of Florida Trend’s“Legal Elite,” a peer-ranked survey of the top 1.6 percent of all lawyers in the state of Florida. He was one of approximately 50 percent of the first-year nominees to repeat the honor in 2005 and was again listed in 2009.

Mr. Oliver was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 and 2011 editions of The Best Lawyers in America(where he was selected for “Bet-the-Company Litigation” in the 2010 and upcoming 2011 editions), was honored by being included in the 2006, 2008 and 2009 editions of Florida Super Lawyers and was named by Orlando Magazine as one of the “Best Lawyers in Orlando” in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Mr. Oliver was additionally voted by his peers as a member of the 2008 “Best of the Bar” survey by the Orlando Business Journal. Mr. Oliver has retained an “AV” rating for the last fifteen years—the highest rating available—from Martindale-Hubbell, the authoritative resource on the legal profession.
